What causes TAR file errors?
Missing software is generally the cause of not being able to open TAR files. This leads to the TAR file extensions having no associated programs to open it. Not having correct programs for files can lead to inability to open files, system lock ups and operating system asking which program to associate the file with.
The solution is to associate the correct program for your file extension. The process takes about 3 minutes from download and will allow you to open your files any time you wish. Once downloaded Filecure will run an automatic scan that locates your files that are not associated with any programs and allow you to open and repair them.
